This is the summer reading list for 6th graders going into 7th grade at Henry Hudson Regional School.
Public hearing to present the proposed 2013-2014 school year budget will be held Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at 7PM in the Media Center.
These adjustments to the 2012-2013 calendar reflect our need to recover 5 days of school.
If you are dropping off your child on the west side of First Avenue, please make sure that your child goes to the corner of First Avenue and Washington Avenue, to be crossed by the crossing guard.
The following is the Student Dismissal Policy of the Atlantic Highlands Elementary School. Students can only be dismissed from teacher to parent/guardian.
Sign up for the lunch debit account and track spending and purchases. You will need your childs' student ID # to set up your account, you must go to the Main office to get it.
The mission of the Atlantic Highlands School District is to provide an education that successfully meets the needs of our student population and effectively prepares each child for the future. We believe this mission can be fulfilled by:
    • Creating classrooms where outstanding teachers strive to instill a lifelong passion for learning.
    • Establishing a safe environment that fosters a commitment, respect, tolerance, and empathy for learning diversity and individual differences.
    • Providing a quality education which utilizes technology and critical thinking, problem solving techniques as well as a wide variety of instructional methods and strategies that enhance student learning and promote literacy.
    • Creating a sense of ownership by all partners in the education process – students, parents, staff, and all community members.
